Historical Description

Weston-in-Gordano, a parish in Somerset, on the coast, 3 miles NE of Clevedon station on the G.W.R. It has a post office under Clevedon; money order and telegraph office, Portishead. Acreage, 736; population, 182. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; net value, £70. The church, dedicated to St Peter and St Paul, is of Norman foundation and rebuilt about 1400 in the Perpendicular style.
