Wayford, a parish in Somerset, 3 miles SW of Crewkerne station on the L. & S.W.R. Post town, Crewkerne. Acreage, 1955; population of the civil parish, 367; of the ecclesiastical, 220. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; net value, £120. The church is a small and ancient building of stone.
