Thorne Coffin or Thorne, a parish in Somerset, 2½ miles NW of Yeovil station on the L. & S.W.R. Post town, Yeovil. Acreage, 413; population, 100. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; gross value, £170. The church is ancient but good, and was restored in 1893.
