Stringston, Somerset

Historical Description

Stringston, a parish in Somerset, 7 miles from Williton station on the G.W.R. Post town, Holford, under Bridgwater; money order and telegraph office, Stogursey. Acreage, 859; population, 125. The living is a vicarage, annexed to Kilve. The church is light and cheerful, having been restored in 1879.
