Stawley, a parish in Somerset, 4¼ miles W by N of Wellington station on the G.W.R. Post town, Wellington. Acreage, 1697; population of the civil parish, 262; of the ecclesiastical, 163. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; gross value, £115 with residence. The church is Early English, and has been restored.
