Welches Dam, Cambridgeshire
Historical Description
Welches Dam, formerly an extra-parochial tract in Cambridgeshire, now a small parish in the Isle of Ely, 6¼ miles NW of Ely. Post town, Manea. Population, 141. The land is almost entirely fen. There is a small Wesleyan chapel.
