Acreage, 765; population of the civil parish, 92; of the ecclesiastical, 75. The manor and most of the property belong to Earl Poulett. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Bath and Wells; value, s£105. Patron, the Bishop of London. The church is plain and good, and has a bell-turret.
