Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire

Historical Description

Kingston Blount, a hamlet in Aston Rowan parish, Oxford, 4½ miles NE of Watlington. It has a post office under Tetsworth; money order office, Chinnor; telegraph office, Lewknor. Kingston House and Kingston Grove are chief residences. There are a chapel of ease (a building of red brick erected in 1877) and Congregational and Primitive Methodist chapels.
