Historical Description
Moorgate, a hamlet in Clarborough parish, Notts, on the Chesterfield Canal, suburban to East Retford, and half a mile from Retford station on the G.N.R. and M.S. & L.R. There is a chapel of ease to Clarborough in the Gothic style.
