Thorpe Abbots, a parish in Norfolk, 3½ miles E of Diss station on the G.E.R. Post town, Scole. Acreage, 1169; population, 240. The living is a rectory in tho diocese of Norwich; net value, £240 with residence. The church, a building of flint in the Perpendicular style, was restored in 1888.
