Snetterton, a village and a parish in Norfolk, 2 miles N from Eccles Road station on the Thetford and Norwich section of the G.E.R., and 4½ SW of Attleborough. Post town, Thetford; money order and telegraph office, East Harling. Acreage, 2207; population, 208. The manor belongs to Lord Egerton of Tatton. The living is a rectory, annexed to Quiddenham; joint net value, £317 with residence. The church is a building of flint, chiefly in the Perpendicular style.
