Historical Description

Setch or Setchey Magna, a parish in Norfolk, 2½ miles NE of Magdalen Road station on the Lynn and Ely section of the G.E.R., and 4 S by E of King's Lynn. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Lynn. Acreage, 794; population, 105. The parish is included within the manor of North Runcton. The living is a rectory, annexed to North Runcton, in the diocese of Norwich. There is no church, but there is a chapel of ease.
