Historical Description
Leaveland, a parish in Kent, 3½ miles SW of Selling station on the L.C. & D.R., and 4½ S by W of Faversham, Post town, Faversham, Acreage, 381; population of the civil parish, 98; of the ecclesiastical, 232. The manor and much of the land belong to Earl Sondes. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Badlesmere, in the diocese-of Canterbury; value, £400. Patron, Earl Sondes. Thfr church has a wooden turret, and is good.
