There are hop-grounds, brick-fields, and breweries. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Canterbury; gross value, £990 with residence. The church was attached to the preceptory of Hospitallers in West Peckham, consists of nave, aisle, and chancel, with a tower, and contains a monument to Sir John Eivers, of the time of James I.
