Brook, a parish in Kent, 2½ miles SE of Wye station on the S.E.R., and 4 NE of Ashford, under which it has a post office; money order and telegraph office, Willesborough. Acreage, 588; population, 143. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury; gross value, £176. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Canterbury and Sir C. Honeywood, alternately.

St. Mary (parish church)
The church of St. Mary, erected about 1075, is of stone, in the Early Norman style, and has a tower containing 3 bells: the lower was struck by lightning in 1896, and the north-west corner destroyed, but was restored in 1897: there are 160 sittings.
