Historical Description

Woodcott or Woodcutt, a parish in Hants, 1½ mile from Lichfield station on the G.W.R. Post town, Whitchurch. Acreage, 1350; population, 105. The manor belongs to the Earl of Carnarvon. The living is a donative in the diocese of Winchester. Patron, the Earl of Carnarvon. The church was rebuilt in 1850, and is a handsome building.
