Upper Eldon, Hampshire

Historical Description

Eldon, Upper, a parish in Hants, 4 miles from Romsey station on the L. & S.W.R., and 3½ S of Stockbridge. Post town, Stockbridge, under Winchester. Acreage, 295; population, 10. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Winchester; net value, £31. The church was put in order by the patron, and occasional services are held in it in the summer.
