Shipton Bellinger, a parish, with a village, in Hants, 3 miles NW of Grateley station on the L. & S.W.R., and 9½ W of Andover. It has a post office under Andover; money order office, Ludgershall; telegraph office, Cholderton. Acreage, 2561; population, 236. The manor belongs to the Kelk family. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Winchester; net value, £75 with residence. The church is a building of tiint in the Early English style of architecture, and has been restored.
