Sheet, Hampshire

Historical Description

Sheet, a township in Petersfield parish, Hants, on the river Rother, 1 mile NE of Petersfield. It has a post office under Petersfield; money order and telegraph office, Petersfield. Acreage, 1583; population, 784. There is a parish council consisting of six members and a chairman. The living is. consolidated with Petersfield. The church is a handsome stone building in the Early English style.
