The living is a vicarage, united with the curacy of East Stratton, in the diocese of Winchester; gross value, £290 with residence. Patron, the Earl of Northbrook. The church succeeded an old one destroyed by fire in 1806, was built at a cost of £10,000-defrayed by Sir Francis Baring; retains the tower of the previous church, and contains monuments by Flaxman to the Baring family. There are alms-houses for fifteen poor people, and a Methodist chapel.
