Mattingley, Hampshire

Mattingley, a hamlet and a parish in Hants. The hamlet lies 2½ miles from Hook station on the L. & S.W.R., and 3½ N of Odiham. The parish includes the tithing and hamlet of Hazely Heath, and its post town is Winchfield. Acreage, 2631; population, 481. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Winchester; gross value, £167. Patron, New College, Oxford. The church is old and quaint.
