Farleigh Wallop, a parish in Hants, 3 miles SSW of Basingstoke town and station on the G.W.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Basingstoke. Acreage, 17 25 y population, 103. The manor belongs to the Earl of Portsmouth. Farleigh House stands amid fine scenery. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Cliddesden, in the diocese of Winchester. The church is small and cruciform.
