Cove, Hampshire
Historical Description
Cove, a parish in Hants, adjacent to the boundary with Surrey, near Farnborough station on the L. & S.W.R., and 5¼ miles NNE of Farnham. It has a post office under Farnborough; money order and telegraph office, Farnborough. Acreage, 1972; population, 979. The ecclesiastical district comprises a part of South Hawley, and has a population of 1267. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Winchester; value, £290. Patron, the Bishop of Winchester. A Primitive Methodist chapel was erected in 1888.
