Historical Description
Wormington, a village and a parish in Gloucestershire, 4 miles SE of Hinton station on the M.R., and 6 S of Evesham. Post town, Broadway. Acreage, 532; population, 87. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; gross value, £50. The church was restored in 1885.

Church of England
St. Catharine (parish church)
The church of St. Catharine is a building of stone in the Anglo-Norman or Transitional style, consisting of chancel, nave of two bays, aisles and small embattled tower of wood on the western gable containing one bell: on the south chancel wall there is a curious brass with figures of a woman and child in bed, erected in memory of Ann (Daston), wife of John Savage, ob. June 17, 1605; there are also several mural tablets to the Gist family: the church was restored in 1885 at a cost of £500, from the designs of Mr. Henry Kennedy, of Bangor: there are sittings for 120 persons.
