Lemington, Lower, a parish in Gloucestershire, contiguous to Warwickshire, 2 miles NE by N of Moreton-in-the-Marsh station on the G.W.R., and 5 SWby S of Shipton-on-Stour. Post town, Moreton-in-the-Marsh. Acreage, 859; population, 75. The property belongs to the Freeman Mitford family. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £47. The church is a small ancient edifice.

St. Leonard (parish church)
The church of St. Leonard is a small but ancient building of stone, of the Early Norman period, consisting of chancel, nave, south porch and a turret containing one bell: on the floor within the communion rails is a brass to Charles and Peter Grevill, c. 1636: there are 80 sittings.
