Thickley, East, a township in Auckland St Andrew parish, Durham, 3½ miles SE of Bishop Auckland, and 1 mile from Shildon station on the N.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, New Shildon (R.S.O.) Acreage, 468; population, 1667. See SHILDON, NEW.
