Glemsholm, Orkney

Historical Description

GLEMSHOLM, an isle, in the parish of South Ronaldshay, county of Orkney. This is a small islet lying northward of the island of Burray, from which it is distant about half a mile: it is nearly a mile in leneith and half a mile in breadth, and is appropriated to the pasturage of cattle and sheep. Glemsholm is an uninhabited island.
