Faladam, Edinburghshire

Historical Description

FALADAM, a hamlet, partly in the parish of Crichton, and partly in the parish of Fala, county of Edinburgh; containing 64 inhabitants. It lies on the road from Lauder to Edinburgh, and is distant about half a mile north-west from the village of Fala. The population is employed in tending sheep and cultivating the soil.
