Crossmyloof, Renfrewshire

Historical Description

CROSSMYLOOF, a village, in the parish of CATHCART, Upper ward of the county of RENFREW, 2½ miles (S. S. W.) from Glasgow; containing 587 inhabitants. It is situated on the road from Glasgow to Pollockshaws, and a short distance north-eastward of the latter town. The White Cart water passes in the vicinity, on the south. There is a small dissenters' school.
