Historical Description
GLANBANE, a parish, in the barony of CLANWILLIAM, county of TIPPERARY, and province of MUNSTER, 1 miles (W. N. W.) from Tipperary. It consists of only a single farm, and is a rectory, in the diocese of Emly, forming part of the union of Ballyscadane and of the corps of the deanery of Emly: the tithes amount to £47. 11. 6.
