Stonebeck Down, a township in Kirkby Malzeard parish, W.R. Yorkshire, 3 miles from Pateley Bridge station on the N.E.R. It is partly in the ecclesiastical parishes of Middlesmoor and Eamsgill. Post town, Middlesmoor; money order and telegraph office, Pateley Bridge. Acreage, including Heathfield, Ramsgill, and Stone, 12,516; population, 279.
