Historical Description
Mount Tabor, a village in Ovenden township, Halifax parish, W.R. Yorkshire, 4 miles NW of Halifax, and 2 from Ovenden station on the Halifax and Ovenden Joint railway. It has a post office under Halifax; money order and telegraph office, Luddenden. There is a brewery and also a Wesleyan chapel.
