Yorkshire, near the rivers Ouse and Swale, 2½ miles NNE of Boroughbridge station on the N.E.R, Post town, York; money order and telegraph office, Boroughbridge. Acreage in N. Riding, 549; population, 74. Acreage in W. Riding, 512; population, 4.
