Historical Description
Himtwiclz-cum-Foulby and Nostell, a township in Hemsworth union, W.R. Yorkshire, 4½ miles ESE of Wake-field, with a station at Nostell on the G.N.R., and a colliery. There is a post and money order office at Foulby; telegraph office, Nostell (R.S.) Area of the township, 1148 acres; population, 644. The parish includes the village of Wragby.
