Hazlehead Bridge, West Riding of Yorkshire
Historical Description
Hazlehead Bridge, a hamlet in Thurlstone township, Penistone parish, W.R. Yorkshire, on the river Don, and on the M.S. & L.R, 3½ miles W by S of Penistone, and 179 from London. It has a station on the railway, and a post office under Sheffield; money order office, Thurlstone; telegraph office, Dunford Bridge. Some ironworks are in the neighbourhood.
