Dunford Bridge, West Riding of Yorkshire
Historical Description
Dunford Bridge, a hamlet in Thurlstone parish, W.R. Yorkshire, with a station on the M.S & L.R., 5½ miles W of Penistone. It has extensive stone quarries and reservoirs connected with the water supply of Dewsbury, and a post office under Sheffield; money order office, Thurlstone; telegraph office at the railway station.
