Wombleton, a township in Kirkdale parish, N.R. Yorkshire, 5 miles E by S of Helmsley, and about 1 mile from Nawton station on the N.E.R. Post town, York; money order office, Nawton (R.S.O.); telegraph office, Kirby Moorside. Acreage, 1212; population, 290. There are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels.
