Stittenham, a township in Sheriff Hutton parish, N.R. Yorkshire, 3 miles from Flaxton station on the N.E.R., and 7 WSW of New Malton. Post town, York; money order office, Sheriff Hutton; telegraph office, Strensall. Acreage, 1599; population, 81. The Duke of Sutherland is lord of the manor.
