Silpho, a township in Hackness parish, N.R. Yorkshire, 6½ miles NW of Scarborough station on the N.E.R. Post town and money order office, Hackness; telegraph office, Cloughton. Acreage, 1148; population, 80. Lord Derwent is lord of the manor and sole landowner.
