Lealholm Bridge, North Riding of Yorkshire

Historical Description

Lealholm Bridge, a hamlet in Glaisdale parish, in the N.R. Yorkshire, on the river Esk, near Lealholm railway station. It has a post office under Grosmont; money order and telegraph office, Glaisdale. Danby Castle is about 2¼miles to the W. There is a Wesleyan chapel, and a mission service is held in the board school.
