Grimston, a township in Gilling parish, N.R. Yorkshire, 6 miles S of Helmsley, 1-k mile from Gilling station on the N.E.R. Post town, York. Acreage, 997; population, 71. dimston Manor, a mansion in the Tudor style, standing in a small park, commands splendid views of the surrounding country. There are several tumuli.
