Historical Description

Farndale-Low-Quarter, a township in N.R. Yorkshire, 6 miles N of Kirby Moorside, and 7 from Castleton station on the N.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Kirby Moorside (R.S.O.) Acreage, 3402; population, 150. An inferior kind of coal is found in this township. The Wesleyans hold their meetings in the national school.
