Historical Description
Duffield, South, a village and a township in Hemingborough parish, E.R. Yorkshire, on the river Derwent, between the Selby and Market-Weighton and the Selby and Hull railways, 4¼ miles E by N of Selby. Post town, money order, and telegraph office, Selby. Acreage, 1685; population, 208. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
