Historical Description
Rimswell, a village and a township in Owthorne parish, E.R. Yorkshire, 4½ miles N of Patrington, 2½ from Withernsea station on the N.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Withernsea. Acreage, 1234; population, 123. The manor belongs to the Clifford-Constable family. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
