Historical Description
Grimston, a hamlet in Garton township and parish, in the E.R. Yorkshire, on the coast, 7¼ miles NE of Hedon station on the N.E.R. Grimston Garth is the seat of the Grimston family, who have held the manor since the Norman Conquest.
