The Salwarpe, Worcestershire

Historical Description

Salwarpe, The, a river of Worcestershire, rising on the Lickey Hills, and running about 14 miles south-westward past Bromsgrove, Stoke Prior, Droitwich, and Salwarpe, to the Severn at Hawford Bridge. The Droitwich Canal closely follows it from Droitwich to the Severn.
