Leasowes, Worcestershire

Historical Description

Leasowes, a seat in Halesowen parish, Worcestershire, near the boundary with Staffordshire, 5 miles SSE of Dudley. It was the birthplace, the residence, and the death-place of the poet Shenstone, and it passed to the Attwood family.
