Ham Castle, Worcestershire

Historical Description

Ham Castle, a quondam baronial seat in Worcestershire, on the river Teme, 8½ miles NW of Worcester. It belonged to the Winningtons and the Jeffries, was nearly destroyed in 1646 by the parliamentary troops, and is now used as a farmhouse.
