Tirril, Westmorland
Historical Description
Tirril, a village in Barton parish, Westmorland, 3 miles SSW of Penritb station on the L. & N.W.R. It has a post office under Penrith; money order office, Penrith; telegraph office, Eamont Bridge. There is a Wesleyan chapel. See SOCKBRIDGE AND TIRRIL.
