Gunnerskeld, Westmorland
Historical Description
Gunnerskeld, a locality in Westmorland, adjacent to the Lancaster and Carlisle railway, 1½ mile N of Shap. There is a fine megalithic circle of large stones, most of which are prostrate. It consists of two circles, one a"bout 50 feet diameter, surrounded by another 100 feet diameter.
